Z&K Trading CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users of the Company's services (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) and has established a system for the protection of personal information. The Company will promote the protection of personal information by having all employees recognize the importance of protecting personal information and by ensuring that all employees are fully aware of the importance in this regard.

 

Article 1. (Personal information)  

Personal information” means 'personal information' as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, hereinafter referred to as the 'Personal Information Protection Act'), and refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other description, or personal identification code.

 

Article 2. (Purpose of use of personal information)  

The Company will acquire personal information of Users and use the acquired information to the extent necessary for the purposes listed below. If the Company intends to use personal information beyond the scope of the following purposes, the Company shall obtain prior consent from the User in an appropriate manner.

  • To provide for the purpose of registration for the Company's services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”), identification at the time of use of the Services, and customer management.
  • For delivery, provision, and after-sales service of Products, etc.
  • To bill for Products and Services
  • To communicate with Users as needed for maintenance, important notices, etc.
  • To respond to opinions, inquiries, etc. from Users regarding the Service (including to confirm the identity of the User)
  • To report to Users on the use of this Service
  • To request cooperation for questionnaires, interviews, etc. related to the Services, to request participation in various events, or to report the results of such events, etc.

 Article 3. (Use of Cookies, etc.)

 1. The Company may use Cookies and other information collection modules (hereinafter referred to as “Cookies, etc.”) to analyze access to the Services, etc., and to obtain access information, browsing information, etc., of Users to the Services. Such information obtained through Cookies, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “Cookie Information”) does not contain any information that can independently identify and specify the User himself/herself.

 2. Users may set preferences regarding the use of Cookies, etc. on the Services. If Users do not wish to allow the use of Cookies, etc., they may disable Cookies, etc. in their browser settings, etc. However, if Cookies, etc. are disabled, the convenience of the Services may be impaired or the scope of use of the services provided by the Services may be limited.

Article 4. (Management and protection of personal information)  

Personal information shall be strictly managed and shall not be disclosed or provided to third parties without the consent of the Users, except in the following cases. In consideration of security, the Company shall take measures to prevent and correct risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.

  • When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent.
  • When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children, and when it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User.
  • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the User's consent is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.
  • When otherwise permitted by law.

 

Article 5. (Outsourcing the handling of personal information) / 

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In such cases, the Company will thoroughly examine the eligibility of the contractor, stipulate confidentiality obligations in the contract, and provide necessary and appropriate supervision of the contractor.

 

Article 6. (Disclosure of personal information) 

Users may request the Company to disclose their personal information held by the Company. Upon receiving such a request from the User, the Company will disclose such information to the User without delay. However, if disclosure would result in any of the following cases, the Company may decide not to disclose all or part of the information, and if the Company decides not to disclose the information, it will notify the User to that effect without delay:

  • When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the User or a third party
  • If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper conduct of the Company's business
  • In case of violation of other laws and regulations

 

Article 7. (Correction of personal information, etc.)  

  1. Users may request that the Company correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) their personal information if the personal information held by the Company is incorrect.
  2. Upon receiving a request as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and if the Company determines that there is a reason for the request as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company will correct, etc. the relevant personal information without delay.
  3. When the Company decides to make or not to make a correction, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, the Company will inform the User without delay.

Article 8. (Suspension of use of personal information)  

 1. Users may request the Company to stop using, erase, or stop providing to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) their personal information held by the Company.

 2. Upon receiving a request as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and if the Company determines that there is a reason for the request as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company will suspend the use of the relevant personal information, etc. However, in cases where the Suspension of e of personal information requires a large amount of money or is otherwise difficult, and when alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the user, these alternative measures will be taken.

 3. When the Company decides to implement or not to implement Suspension of Use, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, the Company will notify the User without delay.

Article 9. (Response to complaints and consultations) 

The Company will accept complaints and consultations from Users regarding the handling of personal information, and will respond appropriately and promptly to such complaints and consultations. The Company will also respond promptly and appropriately to requests from Users for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or denial of use or provision of such personal information.

 

Article 10. (Security control measures)  

The Company will take organizational, physical, personnel, and technical measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information by restricting access to personal information files, recording access logs, and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access from outside.
